There has been reports which have claimed that Chelsea are lining up a summer move for highly-rated Luke Shaw as the eventual successor to Ashley Cole when he leaves the club.
Sportsmail can reveal the Blues had a £10million offer for the England Under 21 defender rejected by Southampton in January.
Chelsea also failed with a move for Shaw during the summer transfer window.
However, talks over a big-money move for Shaw are continuing, with Chelsea increasingly confident of landing the highly rated 17-year-old. (Daily Mail)
The lad is a great talent for the future and is already showing the kind of potential that could make him one of the world’s very best left-backs. So when the transfer window opens up it will be very interesting to see if he joins the blues as he would be a very good addition to the squad
