Lucas Piazon has come out and
admitted that he wants to make his loan move to Malaga a permanent one
when his deal there expires at the end of the season.
This was evident in a pre-match press conference ahead of Malaga’s clash with Athletic Bilbao at the weekend: “Coming to Málaga was the best option. It was a completely different atmosphere at Chelsea as there was a lot of pressure, and much more difficult for a young player like me to get the chance to play football.
“Málaga was definitely the best opportunity for me. I’m really keen to get out on the pitch, and improve as much as I can.” (Daily Express)
Piazon is brilliantly gifted and has a great future ahead of him, but the problem facing him is he has so many gifted players ahead of him in the blues squad and he will never really get the opportunity to make an impact at Stamford Bridge
