There
has been calls by many Chelsea fans for the clubs hierarchy to call
back Romelu Lukaku and give him the chance that he so clearly deserves.
And after West Brom boss Steve Clarke admitted he will head back to
Stamford Bridge in the summer, it looks like they will get their wish.
Lukaku, still only 19, would like to stay at the Hawthorns, but Albion admit they are resigned to him returning to the Blues.
Boss Steve Clarke said: “He is Chelsea’s player. He belongs to Chelsea and he will go back there in the summer.
“I have never thought it would be possible Chelsea would let him come back next season. He came on a season-long loan and we’re grateful we got him.” (Daily Mirror)
The lad has been brilliant for the Baggies this season and has hit thirteen goals already. So although the blues plan on making some big summer signings, young Lukaku shouldn’t be left to rot on the bench because he is simply too good for that.
