Known throughout Europe for his extravagance and for the fact that he’s usually not ashamed to say what he thinks, Steaua manager Gigi Becali completely shattered Terry, Lampard, Hazard and Chelsea owner Abramovich after the game.
The Romanian owner of Steaua Bucharest has had a surprising reaction after the game, saying that he didn’t even notice Lampard on the field. He also mentioned that Terry was so out of his game that he didn’t even know where he was on the pitch and lost his head completely. After coach Reghencampf claimed that Hazard was the biggest danger Chelsea could pose, Becali said after the game that the Belgian “Hazarded” himself and that he could have posed absolutely no danger to the Romanian squad.
By far, Becali attacked Abramovich the most, saying:
“Abramovich’s money are worth nothing. When Jesus Christ wants you to lose, you can have all the money in the world and it won’t count. Divinity can take all your money away in the blink of an eye, so his billions are worth nothing. I didn’t worry about losing the game, only bad luck could have affected us. We will surely score on Stanford Bridge, and Chelsea is not a team which can score three goals against us, so we are already qualified
