Vitesse Arnhem have announced the signing of Chelsea midfielder Cristian Cuevas on a one-year loan deal.
Chelsea signed Cuevas last month from Rancagua in his native Chile, and he has immediately been loaned out for the season in order for him to gain experience of first-team football.
Cuevas was a member of Chile’s side at the recent U20 World Cup in Turkey, helping them reach the quarter-final stage.
A statement on Vitesse’s website read: “Cuevas is known as a great talent.
“The left-footed player can operate anywhere along the left side.” (Sky Sports)
The lad will flourish at Vitesse and they will surely turn him into a player that can make a real impact when he makes a move back to Stamford Bridge
