STURIDGE on The Way OUT ??? !!

His name has been mentioned all over the media in recent weeks, but it seems that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has won the race to sign Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge, as it has emerged they are in talks.

Liverpool have opened negotiations with Chelsea over a possible switch for Daniel Sturridge.

The Reds’ co-owners John Henry and Tom Werner are ready to back manager Brendan Rodgers in the January transfer window, and have already made overtures to the top brass at Stamford Bridge.

They have registered an interest in the £15million-rated England striker, and hope to move swiftly when the winter window opens at the turn of the year. (Daily Mirror)

Sturridge has not had much game time this term and is looking for a move and with Liverpool only having one out-and-out striker; it could be a good agreement for both parties.
