chelsea to sell Tibout

Chelsea slap £17 million price tag on superb Belgian!

There has been reports on the Daily Star website which have claimed Chelsea have stuck a whopping £17 million on brilliant young stopper Thibaut Courtois, even though he has failed to make an appearance for the club.
The Belgian, 21, signed for the Blues in June 2011 from Genk but has spent the best part of two seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid.
Now, Atletico boss Diego Simeone wants to sign Courtois permanently – but has been quoted an eye-watering asking price. Chelsea see Courtois, who won the Europa League with Atletico last season, as the successor to Petr Cech but are willing to let him return to Madrid on loan.
Atletico have enquired about taking Courtois as a makeweight in any deal for Radamel Falcao, who remains a Chelsea target. (Daily Star)
The lad will eventually become the clubs number one stopper and one of the world very best, so although it may seem like a lot of money to stick on his head. In the long-run it will seem like virtually nothing.
